Course Overview
This comprehensive General English course is designed to help students achieve a CEFR B2 level, equipping them with the language skills required for effective communication in academic, professional, and social settings. The course focuses on improving all four language skills—listening, speaking, reading, and writing—while building a strong foundation in grammar and expanding vocabulary.

1. Core Skills Development

  • Listening:
    • Comprehension of complex discussions, interviews, and presentations.
    • Exposure to a range of accents and speeds.
  • Speaking:
    • Participating in discussions, debates, and role-plays.
    • Improving pronunciation, stress, and intonation.
  • Reading:
    • Analyzing newspaper articles, reports, and literature.
    • Identifying main ideas and specific details in texts.
  • Writing:
    • Crafting essays, reports, and formal emails.
    • Summarizing and paraphrasing content.

2. Grammar and Vocabulary

  • Grammar:
    • Mastering tenses, modal verbs, passive voice, and conditional sentences.
    • Using complex sentence structures and advanced connectors.
  • Vocabulary:
    • Expanding thematic vocabulary (e.g., work, travel, education, culture).
    • Mastering phrasal verbs, idiomatic expressions, and collocations.

3. Practical Communication Skills

  • Situational role-plays (e.g., job interviews, travel, social interactions).
  • Presentation and public speaking practice.
  • Group discussions and collaborative tasks.

4. Exam and Assessment Preparation

  • Practice tasks aligned with CEFR B2 level assessments.

Assessment and Certification

Certification: Upon successful completion, students will receive a certificate indicating their attainment of CEFR B2 Level.

Initial Assessment: Placement test to assess current level.

Final Assessment: Comprehensive test covering all language skills.
